Applicants will receive an electronic confirmation indicating that the application was properly received. This is an improvement on the old paper application system where one had to take it on faith that the application was properly received by the State Department.

Da, se pare ca este un pas inainte, acum trebuie sa asteptam sa vedem daca chiar asa o sa fie...
Am inteles ca si pozele daca nu sunt bune (dimensiuni, incadrare, etc..) o sa fie returnate...adica o sa fi informat de acest lucru ca sa trimiti altele in conditiile cerute.

Informatia privind <electronic confirmation> se gaseste si pe siteul oficial http://travel.state.gov/dv2005.html la capitolul "PROCEDURES FOR SUBMITTING AN ENTRY TO DV-2005" punctul 3:

The Department of State will send DV lottery entrants an electronic confirmation notice upon receipt of a completed EDV Entry Form.

Sau mai simplu, pt. utilizatorii de IE, deschideti siteul de mai sus, apasati tastele CTRL si F, tastati cuvantul confirmation, click pe Find Next si gasiti rapid informatia.
