I am writing this letter on behalf of Cosmin & Laura Popescu in support of their interview for U.S. residency. Cosmin & Laura are friends of the family. My husband and I would like very much for them to come to the U.S. and stay with us while they await their green cards and indefinitely thereafter until they can find other arrangements. We will assist them in the process of finding suitable living and other arrangements for their new life in the U.S. We currently reside at: 3476 Odgen St., Chicago, IL 60678. We will assist in making the travel arrangements and will be responsible for their room, board and support while in the U.S. until they can manage on their own.

Re:Immigrant sponsorship of Cosmin Popescu and Laura Popescu

This writing is to confirm the agreement concerning the immigrant sponorship of Cosmin Popescu and Laura Popescu by Alexandru Ionescu and Crina Ionescu.

The parties agree that an affidavit of suport was made by Alexandru Ionescu and Crina Ionescu on behalf of the Popescu's in support of their application for a visa to enter this country for the purpose of obtaining status as legal residents. The Popescu's are recipient of program. Alexandru Ionescu and Crina Ionescu agreed to provide room, board and support while they await their green cards and until they can find other arrangements and manage on their own. The Popescu's have found suitable living accommodation and are both employed or employable and our assistance is no longer necessary.
As such, and to the extend is authorized by law, Cosmin & Laura Popescu hereby release and discharge, Alexandru Ionescu and Crina Ionescu and their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, releases, acquits, and forever discharge Alexandru Ionescu and Crina Ionescu, of and from any and all actions, cause of action, claims demands for damages, cost, loss of use, loss of services, expenses, compensation, consequential damage or any other thing whatsoever on account of, or in any way growing out of, any and all know and unknown damages or for any public or private liability as a result of the affidavit of support or immigrant sponsorship.
We understand that by signing this Release all business between the parties, if any is resolved and complete. This Release contains the entire agreement between the parties hereto, and the terms of this Release are contractual and not a mere recital.
We further state that I have carefully read the foregoing Release and know the contents contained therein, and we sign the same of our own free act.

Da, foarte utila cea de-a doua scrisoare dar... unde trebuie trimisa si dupa ce perioada de timp poate fi intocmita si trimisa? Daca familia castigatoare isi gaseste locuinta, joburi etc... in 2 saptamani - la modul ideal vorbind - se poate retrage sponsorizarea atat de repede?

Parerea mea e ca aceasta intelegere intre cele doua parti nu are nici o valoare legala. In fapt, AOS e un contract intre sponsor si guvernul federal, incluzind guvernele statale si orice entitate care "provides any means-tested public benefit". O intelegere intre sponsorizat si sponsor nu poate anula contractul creat de AOS. Deci, cind se termina obligatiile sponsorului?!?

with 40 qualifying quarters; naturalizes; departs the U.S. and relinquishes
LPR status; or dies." Vezi Aliens and Nationality - 8 USC Section 1183a.
Layman commentary: din cite inteleg, I-864 (AOS predominant folosit pentru family-based immigration) este mai "serios" privit decit I-134 (folosit pentru DV sau invitatii B1/B2).
